8. Dancing/Singing to the radio
9. Doing something stupid like organizing my jewelry
10. EAT

That day in Borders – I (and the rest of the team) Should have been working.

My camera died on me a few weeks ago – and i couldn’t say i was surprised. It had been through quit a lot for its young age but it was sad saying goodbye. And i was comforting myself with the lyrics from one of John Mayer’s songs:

“didn’t have a camera by my side this time
hoping I would see the world through both my eyes”          

                                                 
But then today – out of the blue i decided to have a look at it and guess what just like  the bird phoenix that raised from the ashes it now working again. I couldn’t be happier! :)

I really miss daytime cocktail! Now don’t get wrong i’m not saying i wanna drink all day everyday but there is nothing better then an ice-cold cocktail on a sunny day!

 Sally and I were spending lunch sitting at Veranda Bar having the same talk we’d had for days only today she didn’t agree with me. 

Leila – I’m not drinking today

(silence)

Leila – I thought you were gonna say the same?

Sally – I’m just trying to be realistic babe.

Leila – What do you mean?

Sally – We say that everyday and it never work!

Leila – Well i’m not going out today so….

Waitress- What cocktails are you girls having today?

Both- What?

Waitress – Alex just bought you girls cocktails.

Both: …. Strawberry Daiquiri!

          So I know I’m a bit late but watch the Victoria Secret show the other night and my god they just right on it year after year!

There fashion shows just have the perfect mix of attitude, and playfulness. It really looks like the models are having fun on stage and who wouldn’t with VS perfect pick of stage set up – Dancers, Artist, Music and Props. – They always keep it world class! And of course there lingerie it’s really gorgeous.

It’s so much more then just fashion its Art!

So just like there attention was I ended up on there website looking at some bikinis for the summer season. So far this are my favourites:

OVER AND OUT

I love mascara – it’s such a simple and easy was to look your best. And it’s my absolute favourite make up. (Elisabeth Arden eight hour cream is a very close second). I’m currently using these 3 mascaras

• Lancôme give the spider eye look. It separates my lashes really well.
• Dior has a really big brush witch give a killer night look but the mega brush is a bit clumsy to work with.
• Clinique is the perfect day time mascara – a clean and fresh look.

But I wonder what makes good mascara – the brush or the “gue” you dip it in? Since I find the Dior brush ‘hard’ to work with I dipped my Lancôme brush into the Dior mascara to see what results it would have and if it was a better combination. But to be honest I couldn’t really tell… Oh well I’ll have to trust all the different “test panels” to deal with that.

That’s my own version of the so OVERPLAYED Christmas tune “Last Christmas” I don’t know why people think just because it’s the holidays they’ll let silly songs be played over and over again. I get why M.J “thriller” hit the charts on Halloween it’s a great pop song that’s going to live forever. But the holidays just bring out the worst kind of songs.

The legendary Bob Dylan just releases a Christmas Album – I was originally planning on not dissing the song but the video after just seeing a clip of it – but just decided to YouTube it and weirdly I LIKE IT

It’s ok to have scars – they will make you who you are

The rough things that I’ve gone through has only shaped me to be a better person – and we all know the saying “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” but I think people forget that we’re allowed the scars as well. They hurt more some days then other and we can choose to show them or keep them hidden. But they are still there.

I’ve got a pocket full of problems and a pocket full of seed

But what I find that a lot people do is let there scar wear them instead of wearing the scars. They let it chew them, eat them, and then spit them out where they end up miserable in a pile of spit. You are in control of your life. You can choose to grab a hand full of problems or take the handful of seeds and bring it to the surface – you decide what you want to put you energy on what’s important for your happiness?

My happiest friend are the once that has been through the most trouble – and the once I know that complains over the smallest issues and let it bring them down has never had a real crisis in there life.

Can you never enjoy the good days unless you’ve seen the bad?

I believe in souls And the one think they have in common is that they are always unique. One soul can be as far as part as heaven and earth to the other one. But they can also have meet each other in a past life or have a lot in common – be souls mates.

They are new once and old once. Misplaced once, Broken once, left behind once.

Those souls are often mistaken for being premature, different, trouble maker, and ghost.

They are energy you can’t put your finger on. Few peopel remember where they have been – most can’t place it. But several of them know when they meet, smell, feel, see or hear something that have once meant something for them – good or bad. They recognise it – an all thou they can’t remember when or how – they know they’ve heard it or seen it,  perhaps even been there before.

This is my theory and I could go on all night. But I’m going to leave it there.

Started reading teori for my license – man this country is one sign away from getting in to Guiness woldreckord for hardest teori test. Seriously man they have a sign for EVERYTHING. There is a sign just to prepare you that an importan sign will come. I’ts liket the importan sign feel the need off a butler to introduce it. wtf?

And then on top of it all. There is once sign that bets all the other once.  That’s the sign incase a danger comes and there is no sign for it!

Seriously man – i wanna drive a car not fly to the moon.
