B R E A K F A S T !

I’m a shamed to say that although in the beginning of my time here I would have made Jamie Oliver proud – that is nothing but a memory now. The evenings I’m home to eat dinner I just make noodles – it’s to much of a hassle with veggies when I can’t wash them under running water and besides – they have noodles in vegetable flavour! :)

But my favorite meal of the day is still Breakfast! Today I made the brown porridge – not sure what it really is cos i’ve never seen in it Europe but it’s just taste so much more. Like the difference with white and brown bread.

 

 

Every time I visit my aunti Safia (the one with the school), she gives me different fruits – this time around it was Papaya so yesterday i had that with Passion yogurt (with out a doubt my favorite fruit) and brown toast with paradise marmalade (papaya, passion, mango mix) Made here in Arusha. With fresh milk.

I’ve now tried there pineapple (although I did have about half of the jar left when i dropped it r and saw it smash and smear all over the floor) and Paradise. If there is something I’m bringing back home it’s this! Taste like heaaaaven!
